NuWave Quesadillas Recipe

We are all looking for a kitchen appliance that can cook quality food yet fast and a NuWave oven has proved to do just that. This oven is designed to prepare nutritious and delicious meals extremely fast. It can be used to cook almost all types of foods including quesadilla.

NuWave QuesadillasNuWave Quesadillas are wheat or corn tortilla filled with a spicy filling that contains cheeses and other ingredients of your choice such as vegetable, chicken, bacon et cetera cooked on a NuWave Oven.
Cooking quesadilla in a NuWave oven is quite easy, follow the steps below and enjoy perfectly cooked Quesadilla in a NuWave oven.

Preparation time= 5 minutes
Cook time= 10-15 minutes depending on the desired crispness.


  •  2 corn Tortillas
  • Chicken pieces cut into small pieces
  • Ketchup sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 2 table spoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of chopped freshly cilantro


Brush one side of the tortilla with vegetable oil and place it on the NuWave rack with the oiled side facing down.

Spread mozzarella cheese followed by the chicken pieces then sauce, cilantro, cheddar cheese and another layer of mozzarella cheese leaving 3/4 inch from the border.

Place another tortilla on top of the mixture, press it to adhere and brush its top with vegetable oil. You can place a rack on top of the tortilla to prevent it from blowing off when cooking.

Bake the quesadillas until its edges begin to become crispy and the filling is heated through. This takes about 5 minutes.

Now using a large metal spatula, turn it over and bake until its bottom also becomes crispy for about 3 minutes.

Transfer the quesadillas to a plate, use a pizza cutter to cut into its edges and serve when hot. They should be crispy and not greasy.

NuWave Quesadillas are great with a green salad of your choice. Very delicious.
